Hello Stampers,
Today I'm sharing a photo tutorial on these cute
Top Note Purses- I made these as a special thankyou for my Stamp Club members:) Hope you enjoy:)

First, start with your choice of colored card stock (I used
Real Red 102482) & cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Place on the
Sizzix Top Note die (113463) and roll through on your
Big Shot (113439)!
Next, score the top note at 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 with the
BLACK scoring blade on your
Paper Cutter (104152). Crease with
Bone Folder (102300).

Next cut a strip of Designer Series Paper (I used
Merry Moments 115672) to approx 1 1/2 by 4 and run through the
Big Shot on the
Top Note die- your strip should lay over the highest portion of the top note. Cut along the perforated edge with
Paper Snips scissors (103579), stamp with your choice of image (I used the
'Merry Christmas' from
All Holidays stamp set
114916 and inked with
Basic Black 101179). Adhere with your choice of
SNAIL (104332)or
Anywhere Gluestick (104045).Using your
Crop-a-Dile (108362), punch a small hole approx 1/2 inch inside each end of the top 1/4 inch margin- these holes will hold the handle for your purse. Use your choice of ribbon (I used
Rope Twine 113017 in clearance rack while supplies last!) and cut approx 6 inches. Feed each end of ribbon through the top of the top note purse and tie knots in each end- trim edges with
Paper Snips.

Now it's time to fill your purse! Fill a
Small Flat Cello Bag (103104) with your choice of holiday candy, roll the top down and staple in center. Afix this to the top note 1/4 inch scored margin with
Sticky Strip (104294)- bag should sit between ribbon knots.

Place a small strip of
Sticky Strip behind the cello bag to help stabilize- also place a small strip behind purse top to keep the flap down. Ta da!
