Boho Vintage Vogue

Hello Stampers,

Today I'm thrilled to share an upcoming project, featuring Vintage Vogue and the coordinating wheel from the all new Occasions Mini Catalog!

Notice the Boho color scheme (quite unusual for me!): Dusty Durango, Bermuda Breeze, Creamy Caramel , Basic Black & Very Vanilla. The Black Satin Ribbon (included in the ribbon share!) has been frayed and cinched with Linen Thread and a Gold Brad. I also branched out and tore the edges of the center layers! This card was a great design challenge for me and I hope you enjoy it too:)

Come and play with this great stamp set and many others during my upcoming stamping events! See my calendar here! Don't forget to RSVP for the Occasions Mini & Sale-a-Bration catalog open house!

Occasions Mini Card!

Hello Stampers,

The grand unveiling of Sale-a-Bration and the Occasions Mini is almost here, so I'm sharing a super cute card (shown above), designed by a talented Stampin/ Up! demonstrator, Mary- hope you enjoy:)

The above stamp set, Fox & Friends is in the Occasions mini and shown in the new clear mount stamp option!

The 2nd stamp set used is Well Scripted, also from the Occasions Mini Catalog- this is shown in the clear mount option. All stamp sets will be available in the traditional wood mount or clear mount.

Here are some highlights to this cute project:

The Chocolate Chip 1/4" Epoxy Brads (Occasions Mini) have two fun patterns. 1/2" Epoxy Brads will be available in Real Red and Pretty in Pink. Very cool for flower centers or charming accents.

Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (at the top and bottom of the card) has a mix of colors and patterns that will be part of your Valentine's Day wish list but very workable year long. Filled with sparkle and texture, Sending Love Specialty Paper will be featured in the Occasions Mini, too.

5/8" Satin Ribbon in Real Red lends a touch of elegance. Other satin ribbon options in the Occasions Mini will be Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Basic Gray.

Don't forget to sign up for my Occasion Mini Ribbon Share! The RSVP deadline is Jan 5th for payment- there will be a PayPal button on my blog on Jan 5th!

Stampin' Up! New Punch Design!!!

Happy Saturday Stampers!

I'm sharing a sneak peek of Stampin' Up!'s new punch design- fantastic, right?:)

Here are some fun facts about our new punches:

# Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
# Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
# Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
# Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large
# New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use.

* Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog

# Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners
# Larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use

The punch shown to the right is a Sale-a-Bration reward item- you can receive this new punch for FREE, starting January 5th, 2010 with any $50 purchase!

Top Note Purse Tutorial

Hello Stampers,

Today I'm sharing a photo tutorial on these cute Top Note Purses- I made these as a special thankyou for my Stamp Club members:) Hope you enjoy:)

First, start with your choice of colored card stock (I used Real Red 102482) & cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Place on the Sizzix Top Note die (113463) and roll through on your Big Shot (113439)!

Next, score the top note at 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 with the BLACK scoring blade on your Paper Cutter (104152). Crease with Bone Folder (102300).

Next cut a strip of Designer Series Paper (I used Merry Moments 115672) to approx 1 1/2 by 4 and run through the Big Shot on the Top Note die- your strip should lay over the highest portion of the top note. Cut along the perforated edge with Paper Snips scissors (103579), stamp with your choice of image (I used the 'Merry Christmas' from All Holidays stamp set 114916 and inked with Basic Black 101179). Adhere with your choice of SNAIL (104332)or Anywhere Gluestick (104045).

Using your Crop-a-Dile (108362), punch a small hole approx 1/2 inch inside each end of the top 1/4 inch margin- these holes will hold the handle for your purse. Use your choice of ribbon (I used Rope Twine 113017 in clearance rack while supplies last!) and cut approx 6 inches. Feed each end of ribbon through the top of the top note purse and tie knots in each end- trim edges with Paper Snips.

Now it's time to fill your purse! Fill a Small Flat Cello Bag (103104) with your choice of holiday candy, roll the top down and staple in center. Afix this to the top note 1/4 inch scored margin with Sticky Strip (104294)- bag should sit between ribbon knots.

Place a small strip of Sticky Strip behind the cello bag to help stabilize- also place a small strip behind purse top to keep the flap down. Ta da!

Please let me know if you have any questions. You can order supplies for this fun project right here!

Happy stamping,

Tiffany

Christmas Pudding Tag!

Happy weekend Stampers,

Well, with Christmas just a few weeks away, I've been baking and decorating and relishing all that I love about this special season of the year! I saw this adorable Christmas pudding tag created by Sophia, (Andrea Walford's sister) and just had to share:)

For those that are not sure what constitutes a Christmas pudding, here's a little overview: a rich, buttery steamed pudding, filled with dried fruit, flamed with brandy and then topped with a hard sauce. I grew up with this in England and no Christmas was complete without seeing Christmas puddings everywhere! It's sort of like turkey and Thanksgiving:)

Notice the gorgeous Bella Toile background stamp, inked in Ruby Red and the Crystal Effects & Dazzling Diamonds glistening on the sauce. The tag is made with the Two Tags die and the Big Shot.

Spend a few minutes to stamp some special tags for your gifts this year- they really are fun and you can be as creative as you like:)

The card above showcases the Circle Scissors Plus (make lots of circles in every size!) as well as the Big Shot- notice the Scallop Circle #2 die accented with an embossing folder! Add a few punches, such as the Modern Label punch, a filigree brad, polka dot grosgrain ribbon and Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper- ta da! Have fun creating this card, sure to wow:)

Next we have a subtle card highlighting the Serene Snowflakes and Christmas Punch stamp sets. One of the main focal points on this card is the use of the Square Scallop punch, also being highlighted in our upcoming Christmas Gift Class! This great punch is a perfect stocking stuffer:)

This next card showcases lots of fun goodies, such as the Playground buttons, linen thread, Merry Moments Designer Series Paper, Heart to Heart punch, Welcome Home & Sweet Season stamp sets! Added texture is added to this card by sponging!

Last but not least, if you're looking to stay on top of your stack of photos to be scrapped this season, try this page layout! Hope these ideas spark some inspiration for you- let me know if I can help with any specific questions on products/designs:) Order here now in time for the holidays!
