Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share a sneak peak of the new Summer Mini Catalog: Island Oasis Designer Series Paper! The card was expertly crafyed by Andrea. This great pack of patterns will be available for purchase as of May 1.

The stamp set used for the flowers/leaves is Best Wishes- a great 'all occasion' set and is currently available in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog!

And of course, a touch of Old Olive Satin Ribbon and a few silver brads tie the whole card together for a lovely, casual look:)

Old Meets New

Hi Stampers,

Today I wanted to share a couple of projects featuring current and soon to be available, Stampin' Up! products! I'm so excited about colors such as Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette returning to our color palettes:)

This card was created by Josee and highlights 5th Avenue Floral with our lovely Vellum Cardstock! See directions below to reproduce this effect...



Directions for flower:

1.Start with Vellum Cardstock and swipe it with the Embossing Buddy, reducing static.
2.Stamp the flower on the Vellum using Versamark.
3.Sprinkle White Embossing Powder and tap off excess.
4.Heat set with the Heat Tool.
5.Color back-side of flower entirely with Pink Passion Stampin’ Write Marker. Highlight "lines" with Regal Rose Stampin’ Write Marker.
6.Cut out flower and use little dots of Crystal Effects to glue to card- you don’t need much and it will dry clear!


This next project was created by Mary- I love the simplicity of this card!



Notice the great use of Awash with Flowers stamp set and the Pretties Kit; the Tangerine Tango & Baja Breeze are returning In Colors that will be available July 1!

The "Remember me" sentiment is a sneak peek from "In a Word," a Summer Mini stamp set available May 1!


Last but not least, I wanted to share one more card featuring the 5th Avenue Floral stamp set- can you tell it's one of my favorties:)



This card is all about layers and brings a stunning result! I love the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder!!!

Color Renovation- MDS!

Hi Stampers,

Hopefully everyone has had a chance to see the new COLOR RENOVATION that Stampin' Up! will be releasing July 1st in conjunction with the brand new Idea Book & Catalog!

I wanted to address a question that has come up concerning the impact of this exciting new change and how it will affect MDS:

Q: Will colors be retired in My Digital Studio?

A: We do not retire colors or products from My Digital Studio. All retiring colors will stay in your color palette- Stampin' Up!

Q: Will the new colors be available in My Digital Stuidio?

A: Yes. A download will be available on July 1 to add the new colors free of charge. Watch for additional downloads for accessories in new core colors after that time- Stampin' Up!

Color Renovation!

Hello Stampers,

I'm thrilled to announce an exciting new change that Stampin' Up! is rolling out this summer: COLOR RENOVATION!

What does this mean? The current color families are being 're-done' to brng a fresh new look to our crafting! To make room for the new colors, the colors listed above are retiring and will no longer be available after June, 2010. Now is the time to stock up on ink and card stock in these colors as they are available for just a limited time! Ribbon & accessories in these colors will also be retiring, so keep that in mind.....

Want a sneak peak at the new COLOR RENOVATION? Here it is:



Notice the five completely new colors: Marina Mist, Cajun Crazy, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight- these will be available July 1st, 2010.

In additon, ten previous In Colors will be made part of the new core color palette: Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, and Wild Wasabi. I can't wait to have Baja Breeze back and as a permanent color!!!

Palette colors will be reorganized into four color collections, called Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles. In addition to the 40 core colors, each year there will be five new In Colors, which will have a life of two years! Yeah!

In addition to trimming the selection of offered colors, Stampin’ Up! is also greatly reducing the availability of a long-offered product, full sized Craft Stampin’ Pads. As of July 1st, full sized Craft ink pads will be available only in Basic Black, Whisper White, and Very Vanilla. The Craft Stampin’ Spots (mini ink pads) will continue to be offered for the full core color palette, along with the ink refills for them. We'll be using Craft Stampin Spots in our next Book of Me Scrap class and you'll love how easy they are to use- they also take up much less room!



So, I know this is a lot of information & change to digest, but what an exciting time to gather supplies in your favorite retiring colors, and prepare for the new COLOR RENOVATION!!!
