Christmas Ideas!

Hi Stampers,

As we're drawing an end to this fabulous holiday weekend, we're looking ahead towards Christmas shopping and finishing our Christmas cards- here are a few ideas to help you along the way!



The card above showcases the Circle Scissors Plus (make lots of circles in every size!) as well as the Big Shot- notice the Scallop Circle #2 die accented with an embossing folder! By focusing on a simple color combo (Real Red, Whisper White & Soft Suede) and fun shapes/textures, this card is a huge success! Add a few punches, such as the Modern Label punch, a filigree brad, polka dot grosgrain ribbon and Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper- ta da! Have fun creating this card, sure to wow:)



Next we have a subtle card highlighting the Serene Snowflakes and Christmas Punch stamp sets. One of the main focal points on this card is the use of the Square Scallop punch, also being highlighted in our upcoming Christmas Gift Class! This great punch is a perfect stocking stuffer:)



This next card showcases lots of fun goodies, such as the Playground buttons, linen thread, Merry Moments Designer Series Paper, Heart to Heart punch, Welcome Home & Sweet Season stamp sets! Added texture is added to this card by sponging!



Last but not least, if you're looking to stay on top of your stack of photos to be scrapped this season, try this page layout! Christmas Gift Class!

Here it is! The upcoming Christmas Gifts Class will feature tumbled tile coasters, mini note card sets enclosed in clear acrylic boxes and mini lip gloss books! The photo above shows a coaster and the 2 mini note card designs- lip gloss book not shown.

Our color combo for this special class is: Basic Black, Very Vanilla & Rose Red- these are festive and yet perfect for any occassion in the year:) Our theme is 'momograms'- personalize these gifts with ease!

Coasters will be stamped & 'cured' during class. Monograms are embossed in Basic Black Craft ink and accessorized with Basic Black grosgrain ribbon and Merry Moments Designer Series Paper.

Happy Saturday Stampers!

Check out this lovely card above, highlighting the Dasher stamp, Merry Moments Designer Series Paper, Scallop Oval Punch and Polka Dot Real Red ribbon! An excellent combination!

Designer Series Paper is a great source of inspiration for color combinations- this card was based on the colors from the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Old Olive and Very Vanilla- for the sticklers, Garden Green is also in this paper series, just not showcased in this particular card:)

Nedd some fresh color cobo ideas? Check out pgs 160-163 (Idea Book/Catalog) for some great ideas to freshen up your projects. You can also check out the Simply Scrappin' kits for other great color combos!

Hello Stampers,

To herald this coming weekend, I wanted to share this lovely card, showcasing the Serene Snowflakes stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog- remember, there are only a few weeks left to order from this mini!

Technique Class Success!

Happy Saturday, Stampers!

Just wanted to give a great report on our October Techniques class- we made beautiful shaker cards and managed to leave somewhat glitter free:)

A few reminders/tips:

Use Scotch brand foam mounting tape to create the perfect seal around shaker frames and remember to firmly seal your stamped image to the mounting tape!

Less is more when adding beads to your shaker frame; you can be more liberal with Dazzling Diamonds:)

Use the medium weight window sheets (pg 158) for a beautiful clear 'window'.

Be creative and have a great time as you design more shaker cards of your own:)
