Happy Thursday Stampers,
I'm stranded at home, away from the Stamping Studio at present (not willing to risk driving in the torrential rain) and so must share a card created by another stamper, Tammy!
Isn't this card beautiful- I love the addition of
Sage Shadow with the
Chocolate Chip, which is an often overlooked color combination! It's highlighted in the
To the Nines Designer Series Paper also shown here!
This card showcases the brand new,
Autumn Splendor stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog as well as the level 1 hostess stamp set,
Holiday Best. Tammy stamped the leaves with our Basic Brown ink, then applied color with
Stampin' Up!'s Watercolor Wonder Crayons and blended with an
Aqua Painter!
This technique isn't difficult, but practice does make perfect, for the perfectionist stampers, like myself! We'll be highlighting water coloring techniques in our
November Techniques class so mark your calendars and don't miss out! The technique classes have been filling up very quickly so sign up now!
Want to know what we're doing in technique class this month?
September heralds the arrival of fall and with it comes a gorgeous technique: '
cracked glass'! We'll be using the
Lovely as a Tree &
Autumn Days stamp sets- pictures will be on my blog by the end of this week as well as the paypal button. I've been so looking forward to sharing some flashy fall projects and the
September technique class will serve as the platform!
Where: Stamping Studio
When: Friday, Sept 25th from 6:30-8:30pmParticipants will create 4 flashy cards (these will definitely go to your special friends!) as well learn a flashy technique for just $20- play with some special toys/products and learn even more about
Stampin' Up! tools!
See you soon & happy stamping,
Tiffany
