My Mother's Day Card

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to belatedly share the Mother's Day card I created for my Mom this year. Since May is National Scrap booking month, I used this theme for the card by creating a mini scrap book:) To the right is the front of the card, showing myself as a little girl with my Mom.

The next set of pages shows a mini journaling section and a picture of my Mom, our family dog, Sugar, and myself as a teen! On all of the colored portions of the pictures, I ran the versamarker over them and doused in clear embossing powder
and embossed to preserve the color. I liked this extra touch very much!

The third set of pages shows my Mom and Sugar with myself and
my dog, Ladybug- this was to represent our present lives together:)

The last photo show the tabs that I included within 2 pockets in the card- the images are stamped in Whisper White craft ink on
Basic Black card stock & the definitions are from the Define
Your Life stamp set, a must have:)

Ingredients:

Stamps: All in the Family, Family Accessories, Define Your Life, Congratulations (Sale-a-bration)
Card Stock: Kraft 12 x 12, Basic Black, Naturals White, Pretty in Pink, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, retired designer series paper (Pretty in Pink & Certainly Celery)
Ink: Black Staz-on, Certainly Celery, Blush Blossom, Pretty in Pink, Apricot Appeal, Barely Banana, Creamy Caramel, Basic Gray, Sahara Sand, Whisper White Kraft, Black Stampin' Write marker, Versamarker
Accessories: Stamp-a-majig, Aqua Painters, Sponge, Spiral Punch, Word Window Punch, Tab Punch, Clear Embossing powder, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Anywhere Glue sticks, SNAIL

Father's Day Card

Evening Night Owls,

I wanted to share the Father's Day card that I created for my dear Dad:) I've been on an "All in the Family" kick recently! I CASED my layout from the card below. Hope you enjoy:)

Ingredients:
Stamps: All in the Family
Card stock: Close to Cocoa, Night of Navy, Sage Shadow, Naturals White, Close to Cocoa Designer Series Paper
Ink: Black Staz-on, Close to Cocoa classic, Night of Navy classic, Sage Shadow classic, Black Stampin' Write marker
Accessories: Chit Chat rub-ons, Circle Scissors Plus, Word Window punch, Aqua Painters, Sponge, White Uni-ball Gel pen, Night of Navy 1/4inch Grosgrain ribbon, Clips Assortment, SNAIL.

I sponged this card a lot (each layer) and added faux stitching with the uni-ball pen and dots around the center image with the Close to Cocoa marker. I water colored myself & my Dad as well as the balloons and added a few touches with the uni-ball pen again. It was a fun card to make & the Circle Scissors plus is a dream:)

Scrap Booking Techinques/Ideas!

Hi Night Owls,

Below are some great tips for scrap booking that I just had to share; again, if you haven't scrapped yet, take the plunge this month! Come to one of my scrap classes in May and see how fun and relaxing scrapping can be:) Enjoy reading!

Below are some suggestions to help make better use of your time with your hobby:

1. Gather all of your pictures together from a single event.

2. If you have the room, lay out many sheets of cardstock and lay the
pictures on the cardstock at random.

3. Have sketches available to use as a guide.

4. Gather your embellishments that you plan to use; maybe you have a theme or just plan to use whatever appeals to you at the time.

5. Decide if you are going to cut your mats and photos with a straight edge or with a decorative edge.

6. Do not forget to make a journal box for each of your pages.

7. Don't worry if you are not able to finish your pages at one time. At least you have a start and the next time you have a few minutes a good portion of the decision making has already been done.

8. Last and most important, have fun and remember the event as you work on your pages.

Always remember enjoy your hobby and don't feel as if it is another job.

Oval Wedding

Good evening,

I wanted to share this lovely card showcasing the Oval All stamp set and Scalloped Oval punch from the Spring Occasions Mini Catalog.

The cake is made of Pink Pirouette textured card stock & sponged with the same color ink along the edges to add more depth. The corners of the cake are rounded with the Corner Rounder punch, a must have:) I added Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon on the base of the cake and the flower uses the Flower Fusion (Chocolate Chip flower), Flower Fusion Too (Pink Pirouette flower), & the Pretties Kit (Vanilla Pearl). The greeting is stamped in Chocolate Chip Craft ink on Very Vanilla card stock and then doused in Clear Embossing powder and embossed to provide a lovely shine. This was punched using the Large Oval punch and then mounted on Pink Pirouette textured card stock punched with the Scalloped Oval punch. The final touch was sponging Chocolate Chip classic ink to the edges of the Chocolate Chip card stock layer. Ta da!!!

This card really only took moments to assemble and has a beautiful classic look- I'm afraid the full effect of the multiple textures is lost with you not seeing this card in person though:( Order this great stamp set, Oval All today with the corresponding punch to make your own lovely wedding cake card:)

Remember to send me some feedback on my blog and you'll receive a hand stamped card from me!

Good morning,

For those that notice the time of my blog entries, yes this is very early- I'm working night shifts at the hospital currently! I've taken a challenge from my business coach, John Sanpietro, to blog every day during the month of April so I'm having to fit them in around my upside down schedule:)

I wanted to highlight a card created by Michelle Surette using the Party Hearty set, which I love:) Michelle (www.surette.org) mentioned that this card was CASED from a Stampin' Up! Artisan Award winner, Michelle Fisher. The best inspiration always comes from Stampin' Up! & their demonstrators, not that I'm biased:)

I love the layout of this card and the use of multiple punches and in colors- isn't it great?!

Contact me today to order this great stamp set and other supplies needed to replicate this beautiful hand stamped card:)

I thought today would be a great time to share this picture with you- it was taken at the last Stampin' Up! Regional conference, right here in San Antonio! As you can see, my Mom & I were honored to have a picture taken with Shelli Gardner, Cofounder & CEO of Stampin' Up! Forgive the glazed over look in my eyes- it was very early in the morning and it takes me awhile to get in gear:) I'm afraid I'm not much of a morning person. However, the opportunity to stamp all day with other demonstrators from all over the city and state as well as meet some of the great staff from the Stampin' Up! home office won me over though and it was worth every minute:) It was one of the best days I've enjoyed since becoming a demonstrator and I can't wait for the next conference!

If you're interested in becoming part of the Stampin' Up! family and joining me on our next great day of stamping at a Stampin' Up! conference, contact me today! It's never been easier to join and it keeps geting better & better:)

Oval All Thank You

Hi,

See what I've been creating with the two newest editions to our punch wall, the scalloped oval punch & large oval punch:

This Oval All stamp set is part of the spring occasions mini catalog- I just love everything, but this was my first choice! The background (Apricot Appeal) is stamped with a flower from Heartfelt Thanks in Apricot Appeal Classic ink and the butterfly was colored with markers and then finished with a dot of Crystal Effects- don't forget to let this dry! I also paper pierced along the edges of the Almost Amethyst Card Stock to add more texture- sorry the picture doesn't do this justice!

This card is being dedicated to Michelle Montanio, a dear friend that I recently re-connected with- we had breakfast at Twin Sisters Bakery last week so this card is being sent to her:)

The first person to place an online order from the spring occasions mini catalog, starting April 1st, will receive a FREE gift from me so stay tuned! More details to follow:)

Punches Mounted

Hi Everyone,

After a wonderful trip to IKEA with my Mom and fellow demonstrator, Candy Rattray & my wonderful sister-in-law and fellow stamp club member, Nicole Rattray, the stamping studio has achieved one more element towards completion: the punches are mounted! Take a look at this photo:

The brackets were very inexpensive and fit perfectly- we may be going back for one more bracket as we're already at max capacity and I just ordered another punch! This is going to be great for all of our activities at the stamping studio and help to keep things organized and still accessible!

Hope you like:)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Good afternoon,

Pinch a little green today and send out a delightful St. Patrick's Day card! This card was designed by Candy Rattray & was made in our last 'All Occasions' card class, every 2nd Saturday of each month.

This was a blast to make & utilizes a non- St P's Day stamp set. The Sprinkles back ground stamps and the Best Wishes & More stamp set are highlighted here with Garden Green, Certainly Celery & Very Vanilla card stock. The fine cosmo glitter and vanilla taffeta ribbon give it the finishing 'lucky' touches:)

Contact me today to get your own supplies to make this card and many others:)

Scrap booking

Hi,

I'm in the midst of a scrap booking project and thought I would share a page that has been my inspiration- I was able to see this at the Stampin' Up! regional conference, here in San Antonio this past October. The conference was tremendous and just one more perk to being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, with a ton of creative projects, all at my finger tips!

This page highlights Stampin' Up! Sticky Cut Letters and the Fine Supernova Glitter- I love how the color of the glitter (Aqua) perfectly coordinates with this ocean themed page! The layout is simple and a great guide- the accessories add to the story being told instead of monopolizing the entire page. The card stock used is Baja Breeze textured 12 x 12 and Chocolate Chip textured 12 x 12.

Hope you enjoy & happy stamping,

Tiffany

The Stampin' Up! Opportunity!

Hi Everyone,

Are you concerned about our lean economic times at present? Most of us are being affecting one way or another. As serious as the issues are, my goal is to make 'lemonade' out of the 'sour' circumstances and become stronger as we endure to the other side:) I hope you share my goal.

The Stampin' Up! home office just released this statement:

"A recent CNN news report noted that many people who had planned on careers in what they considered traditional, secure areas are considering other choices now, often choices that include things they love.

'As job security from corporate America fades, [people] see the economic downturn as an unexpected chance to transform hobbies or youthful fantasies, once-dubbed impractical, into grown-up careers,' the report states."

If you're considering adding to your current earning options then I have great news for you- the Stampin' Up! opportunity! Be your own boss, set your own hours, work on your pace and do what you love- join the Stampin ' Up! family today!

Spend time with your family, friends and neighbors, stamping and scrapping and discover how important relationships are in these times. As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator you can earn extra grocery money, gas money etc... by stamping and doing what you love:) The many relationships that I've built in the past year as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator have become indispensable to me- I value our stamping times together where we put aside the worries of the day and simply enjoy each others company! Of course, the extra income is a great bonus, particularly for my husband! I paid for my daughter's birthday party last summer with my 'stamping money' and you can too!

Don't let lean times steal your chance of enjoying life- do what you love and join the Stampin' Up! family! Contact me today for more details on how you can get in on the Stampin' Up! opportunity- there's never been a better time to be apart of something great:)

Happy stamping,

Tiffany
